[On Monday, Omi receives a text message from "gothgf"!]

movie?

[this is like, her first time texting.]

[housewolf]

[There are a couple of girls who he would consider goth.

But there's only one who he had movie plans with.]

Is this Lenore?

[sistocracy]

[housewolf]

I'll meet you at the rec room?

[sistocracy]

yes meet you there 😀

[she's been told that emojis make texts better.]

[And he will be able to find her in the rec room shortly after, standing near the selection of movies!]

Week 2: Friday

[housewolf]

[Lenore can find Omi near the door to the cathedral, arms crossed and looking at the pews.

He looks tired, but when he spots Lenore he does his best to pull himself together.

It's not great.]

[sistocracy]

[Lenore arrives at the chapel dressed very much like a lady in mourning. She stops shortly after entering, greeting Omi with a nod of acknowledgment.]

Hello, Omi. Did you lose someone dear to you, as well?

[housewolf]

[He nods right back.]

... Yeah. I was pretty close with Luca.

[sistocracy]

I'm sorry.

You're here to pay respects?

[housewolf]

It's the closest place we have for that right now.

I'm sorry as well. Steven was your roommate, right?

W2: Sunday

[housewolf]

[Catch him in the biome garden just staring at the roses. It doesn't really seem like he's all there at the moment.]

[sistocracy]

[Lenore walks over to stand beside him, her veil still over her face. She's silent for a few moments, then...]

...I'm sorry. You never should have been put in that situation.

[housewolf]

[He very visibly tries to put on an air of everything is fine.]

Ah... It's not really about what should or shouldn't happen, right? Things just happen and we have to deal with them.

[sistocracy]

... True.

It looked like the two of you were on good terms. Seemed a bit cruel, considering how many people there were apparently eager to see him die.

[housewolf]

.. Yeah. We've been friends for a while now.

I don't know who's deciding these match ups.

W3: Monday

[housewolf]

[Omi can be found watching the sakura petals falling in the window of the airport.]

Is it spring...?

[Hard to tell when the windows are so strange.]

[sistocracy]

[lenore walks over to join him. she holds a hand out towards the window, turning it over a few times with a look of mild amusement.]

I’m sure it’s just a simulated window. [but she’ll gaze out at the cherry blossoms and add:] Pretty, though.

[housewolf]

Just like all the other weird windows in this place.

[A little sigh.]

At least it's a nice surprise.

[sistocracy]

I like them better this way. I’d be in trouble if they were normal.

[lenore grins, then looks around at the rest of the room.]

What is this place, anyway?

[housewolf]

Because of the sun?

[He has no idea which part of vampire lore applies to her.]

I think it's some sort of airport? It's a building you'd go to travel to another destination.

W6: Friday

[sistocracy]

[It's after the death announcement and while this is happening that Lenore can be found sitting at the bar with a glass of wine, watching the world of the living through the TV screen. There aren't any strong emotions to pick up from her. At the sight of the flour-y snowfall, she simply snaps her fingers in disappointment.]

Darn.

[but then she notices someone else has entered the bar, and she turns to greet Omi with a smile.]

Oh, Omi. Would you like to join me? I'm afraid there isn't much of interest to see right now. [the TV screens are just displaying a flurry of whiteness. it's fine.]

[housewolf]

[He looks a little puzzled at the screen, but nobody expects flour snow indoors.

His emotions are low-key friendliness towards Lenore. Nothing particularly extreme for her to pick up.]

Sure. Did you want some wine or something else?

[sistocracy]

[well, her glass is almost empty (seems she's been here a while? but she doesn't seem drunk, at least.) so she gives it a little thought.]

Well, I'd never say no to wine. What are you having?

[housewolf]

I was thinking of some rice wine.

[There's a gentle feeling of homesickness as he suggests it.]

Then maybe I'll have some of that, too.
